Fields of Industry - I've Never Been to New York

from The Popes Boner by Multiple Artists

/

about

Fields of Industry was originally a bedroom recording project of Joshua Barton, self-releasing cassettes starting in 1999. Since then the band has had many lineup changes and encompassed a wide variety of sounds from folk to blistering shoegaze-inspired jams, all the while featuring Barton's songwriting. From 2000-2002, Fields of Industry performed throughout Michigan as a full band, while Barton recorded a self-titled full length. Between 2003 and 2005 Eric Gallippo and Joel Schrauben became steady members of the band. Barton and Gallippo recorded and self-released the 3-song EP, Dogs, in 2005. Two Dogs, A Television was released digitally by Cerberus Records and on CD by the band’s own imprint, Arts Vs Entertainment, in 2008.
