Simmons, an eight-year veteran of the South-West Michigan music scene, has opened for such national acts as Arctic Monkeys, The Sights, Bad Religion, The Like, The Hard Lessons, and recently completed a Mid-Western tour backed by his group The Little Ghosts. Along with high energy, the singer/songwriter's live shows are hallmarked by crowd involvement, a decidedly fun atmosphere, and, above all else, a tight musical performance that isn't buried under reverb or a blaring house PA. Simmons takes pride in a high-quality show that isn't masked by gimmicks, but rather puts the technical proficiency of he and his band on display for his audience to see. A quality that, along with blazing hooks, has turned bystanders into fans all over the region
